What Is A Credit Score?

A credit score is basically your “risk score”.

This number represents the likelihood you would go 90 days delinquent in the next 24 months. The higher your credit score is, the least likely you are to go 90 days delinquent in the next 24 months. The lower your credit score is, the more likely you are going to default more than 90 days in the next 24 months.

Your FICO scores will range from 300 to 850.

Consumers who have credit scores in the 700s or higher have found very little difficult in getting approved with favorable terms and rates because they are deemed as low risk.
